FLABI spokesperson elected as Chair, EuroBioimaging Panel of Nodes

At the All-Hands Nodes meeting of EuroBioimaging held last week in Heidelberg, Sebastian Munck from Flanders Bioimaging was elected as chair of the Panel of Nodes.
The Euro-BioImaging Panel of Nodes currently provides advice to the Directorate concerning service delivery at the Nodes, and Euro-BioImaging Hub activities and services supporting Nodes in their role as access providers; Sebastian’s pitch to the assembly centred around increasing Node representation at the EuroBioimaging board with a focus on increasing funded access and co-ordinating best practice for image data management (where he brings direct experience from both FLABI and multiple other European initiatives).
Sebastian will be joined by  Ilva van Houwelingen of the Population Imaging Node Rotterdam as Panel of Nodes Vice-Chair.
